Flower essences and the Animal Kingdom:

The animal kingdom responds beautifully to flower essences. Like people, animals experience and exhibit a range of emotions. Many of these can be distressful and unpleasant. Essences can be easily used for a variety of these emotional difficulties in animals / pets.

Flower essences are especially wonderful for animals in that animals often can't rationalise what is going on around them. Think of the dog who gets ignored because his owner has just lost his job. The dog of course isn't to know the cause of his owner's aloofness, yet can feel confused, anxious and hurt.

Flower essences help such negative feelings to ease/disappear. Hence rather then the dog suffering in this way, through the essences he can be afforded relief.

Pets / animals also tend to "sponge" up the moods of their immediate environment e.g. yours! They often adopt our moods and, at times, any negative feelings they "take on" can linger. Thankfully, the distress etc they feel can be helped by flower essences. By helping the animal cope and deal with such emotions, essences therefore allow animals to be less affected by environmental influences.

Our pets deserve the best care we can give them. We need to ensure they have a nutritious diet, proper medical care, and sufficient exercise. Meeting their emotional needs is however all important. By healing negative emotional patterns, flower essences are just one step to ensure our pets / animals lead a happier, healthier life.

ATTENTION animal welfare groups: The Center donates flower essences (concentrates) to animal welfare and rescue groups/individuals (please understand, we just need to ask that any such groups/persons cover some / all of the cost of postage and handling, thank you)
If you belong to such an organisation and are interested in essence (stock bottle) donations, please forward to us a letter of introduction, citing your registration information etc.

RESCUE SERVICES / ADOPTION SERVICES / WELFARE GROUPS

Below you will find listed various rescue services, adoption centers or information services. Please note, those services that the F.E.C recommends due to personal experience or because they come recommended, are asterixed.

However the F.E.C is not affiliated with any of these services/sites and accepts no responsiblily for any services, products, referals, info etc offered by or animals sold / donated through them.

We strongly urge people wishing to rehome an animal to place their animal at a "no-kill" shelter. Such shelters have a general policy of keeping animals until a home is found rather than euthanase animals after an (often) brief period of time. Such an approach, we feel, is the essence of true animal rescue and adoption.

The internet lists and describes many such no kill shelters as well as countless rescue and adoption centers for animals of all shapes and sizes!
